Guest web edition · Updated 1 November 2026
Your reading, your choice.
This notice describes this small Jaikara guest web edition. It does not describe future accounts or the broader app.
What this edition collects
You can read without giving us a name, phone number or email. This edition has no login, contact form, advertising pixel or third-party analytics code. Its application code does not send reading progress or preferences to a Jaikara database.
What the hosting service receives
Opening a page or following a verse link sends a normal web request to the hosting service. The service receives the requested URL and technical connection information, such as an IP address and browser request headers, to deliver and protect the site. We have not configured a separate visitor log store in this edition. We do not claim that the hosting service retains no logs; its operational log retention is not controlled by the reader’s clear-data button.
The hosting layer also uses Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie for bot protection. Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. This host-managed, HttpOnly cookie is separate from optional reading progress; the reader’s clear-data button cannot remove it. Cloudflare describes possible cookie-data processing in United States data centres. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for its purpose, expiry and processing details.
Optional storage in your browser
Remembering is off when a page opens. If you explicitly enable “Remember on this device”, the reader may store the text identifier, verse and reading preferences in this browser. It is not shared with other devices or automatically loaded on a new page. Saved data remains until you turn remembering off, choose “Clear saved data”, or clear the browser’s site data. Other people using the same browser may be able to access it.
Your controls
Read without enabling storage, turn remembering off at any time, or clear saved data from the reader. If the browser blocks storage, reading still works. The edition does not request location, microphone, camera, notification or contacts permission.
Sharing and email
Sharing a verse is an action you choose. Your chosen sharing or email service handles what you send. If you email Jaikara for support or a correction, we receive the email address and message you send. You can ask us to delete that support correspondence; no response deadline or fixed email-retention period is promised in this notice.
Children
This guest edition has no child accounts, age collection or parental-consent flow. It is not a child-profile service. Any future account or collection features need their own notice and controls before use.
Questions or requests
Email support@streakpeaked.com, the inbox monitored by the site owner, for privacy questions, complaints or requests concerning support correspondence. The reader cannot erase technical logs held by the hosting service.
