Jaikara is a small, account-free Hindi reading edition. Open a text, make it comfortable to read, and pick up from a verse whenever you like.

How do I start?

Open the library, choose a text, and begin. The complete text is available in the page even when JavaScript is off. You do not need to create an account.

Can I make the words larger?

Use the reader’s smaller and larger text controls. Focus mode reduces the surrounding interface. These controls work for the current page without saving anything.

How do I save my place?

Choose the optional “Remember on this device” control in the reader. When enabled, Jaikara can store a text identifier, verse and reading preferences in this browser. You must enable it again after opening another page; saved data is not loaded automatically. There is no account sync.

Can I send someone a verse?

Each verse has a direct link. Use the share or copy controls to share that link. On browsers without sharing or clipboard support, the page shows a selectable link. Sharing happens only when you choose it.

How do I clear saved progress?

Use “Clear saved data” in the reader. Turning remembering off also clears Jaikara’s guest reader data from this browser. Clearing this data cannot delete hosting-provider request logs.

Are meanings and audio available?

This edition includes the Hindi text only. Draft meanings are withheld while review is pending. Audio, sign-in, a festival calendar and the Play Store app are outside this guest edition.

What has been reviewed?

The texts come from Jaikara’s existing published library editions. Available author attributions are shown on each reader. Independent checking of this digital text against a printed edition is pending. The reader displays that status and is excluded from search indexing until review is complete.
